Yvette Gagnon
Yvette is an author, photographer, teen advisor, and has recently added motivational speaking to her repertoire. From a car accident in her early twenties that forced her to rebuild her life, to the abuse she suffered from her sister, which resulted in her losing two children she had raised as her own for nine years, Yvette has overcome many challenges in her lifetime. It is these experiences that have helped her develop the skills necessary to overcome all the adversity she has faced. And, it is these skills she has used to help others successfully overcome their difficulties as well.
It is Yvette's unique perspective on life that enables her to connect with teens on a deep and real level. She is able to inspire and guide others to achieve their goals by relating to them and helping them to develop their own skills when faced with adversity.
Yvette has always enjoyed helping others reach their goals on an individual basis and is now reaching a larger audience through the publication of her first book Materialism and the Art of Giving. Yvette has joined several talented international authors in their efforts to take a stand against their aggressors. By telling his or her story of abuse and how he or she overcame it, Yvetteencourages others to stand up for themselves and others. Fearless Poets Against Bullying, will be released at the end of April, 2014.
