James 'Mr Speaker' Sears
James Sears, otherwise known as, Mr. Speaker, is a 1985 graduate of Louisville Male High School and a 1989 graduate of Western Kentucky University with a BS in Business Administration and a minor in history. He received a master’s degree from Central Michigan University in Human Resource and he is currently serving on active duty as a highly decorated United States Army Officer. Lieutenant Colonel Sears is a graduate of the Command and General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth, KS, he has three combat tours, two additional overseas assignments, and he has successfully commanded a battalion in combat. Mr. Speaker has hosted several poetry spots in the 757 Virginia area to include co-hosting a weekly blog-talk radio show and hosting shows at the Nuyorican Poet’s Café located in New York City. Mr. Speaker has produced two CDs with a third CD in the works and he is also planning to release his first book in 2014.
